When you are doing your spring cleaning, don't forget The Women's Center, Rags To Riches, The local animal shelters, Goodwill, Salvation Army, Purple Heart, and others. Many of these organizations have convenient drop off locations and some even pick up large items. Happy spring!

We want to thank all of our clients and friends and the community. Kalish Law Office is in our 25th year, and are planning a celebration ! On Saturday, November 7, 2009 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we will be having an Open House and Art Show at our office.
The show will feature the works of photographer Richard Sidman. Mr. Sidman is a talented and creative photographer who has been creating his works since 1965. His earlier work features 35mm black and white images from his travels around the country. These vintage images vividly capture the spirit of the 1960's and 1970's.
His recent work consists of hauntingly beautiful and creative original digital photographs. His work has been described as follows:
"Pictures Sidman captures today, like images in the past, mostly are instantaneous; mostly moments neither posed nor contrived... The results present a cerebral potpourri of interesting, original and dynamic vision of an eye able to focus on more than what's seen.."
Snacks will be available. Please R.S.V.P. by calling us at 281-363-3700 by October 31st, 2009.

If you are not a citizen and are required to be registered you are required to report a change of address to US Immigration.
This is especially important if you have an application pending with the immigration service.
If your application or petition is one that will take a very long time to complete (for example, waiting for a priority date for years), you may forget to update your information and then miss out on an important notice from the immigration service. Here is the link and information on reporting change of address.
If you are represented by an immigration lawyer you should always tell your lawyer immediately when any of your contact information changes.
If you have any concern that you will create an immigration problem for yourself by contacting US Immigration, then you should seek a consultation with an immigration lawyer first to be sure you fully understand your rights and responsibilities.
